Driving Instructor
Full Time/Part Time
● FT is classified as 32 or more hours
● PT is classified as 20 hours or less
● Flexible, must be able to work part of a weekend
● Pay $16.00/hour after completion of training
Job Description:
The training and instruction of drivers to facilitate various situational driving conditions. This occurs through the development of necessary skills taught or enhanced to properly operate a motor vehicle
Primary Responsibilities:
● Teach Behind-the-Wheel lessons to teens and adults
● Perform in car Behind-the-Wheel assessment on student performance
● Incorporate online driver’s education material and other resources to situational driving
● Encourage two-way communication, ask situational questions and use various teaching aids
● Always maintain professionalism
● Foster all traffic and safety rules and regulations
Required Education:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Valid Driver’s license in the state of Ohio
● 5 years of driving experience
● Excellent driving record, no infractions or occurrences reported withing the last 3 years, including but not limited to DUI, misdemeanor, felony, accident, or speeding ticket
● 1 year experience and demonstrated success in a customer service, training, teaching, or coaching role
Competencies/Skills Set:
● Good/great driving record
● Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
● Can provide feedback both strengths/opportunities in a non-demeaning manner
● Excellent customer service skills
● WOW FACTOR- effectively coach student where they are excited about their next lesson, pleased with overall experience, and would refer company to their family or friends
● Can apply and use different learning styles (EX: Auditory, Visual, Kinesthetic)
● Patient and personable, ability to handle stressful situations
● Excellent time management skills
COMPANY (ABOUT US): AAAA is a company that has been around for 50 years providing excellent service in the Greater Cincinnati communities to Teens and Adults. Each student will get individual one-on-one attention with a professional driving instructor. Feedback is provided to each student so they will know each lesson strengths, areas of opportunities, and progression. The instructors are experienced, patient, encourage two-way communication and want each student to become a confident, safe, and defensive driver.
